Subjects demonstrated and practiced by students:
• Wood floor cleaning, low moisture and extraction methods
• Vinyl floor cleaning, plank and sheet
• Stone and Ceramic floor tile cleaning
• Stone Counter-top cleaning, restoration, chip repair and sealing
• Grout repair, fortified, epoxy and flexible products, color matching techniques
• Back Splash, Sink and Base Board joint removal and repair
• Grout Color Seal, application and removal
• Topical Floor Finishes, application and removal
• On-site Area Rug Cleaning
We will have a variety of demonstration work stations featuring mock set ups, such as counter to back-splash, bath tub to wall, bottom mount sink to counter-top, floor to tile base board, floor to wood baseboard, vertical shower wall to vertical shower wall, etc. Students will be trained on how to use caulking guns and syringes, various grout types, silicones, epoxies etc with removal and installation both being demonstrated
All subjects will be demonstrated and practiced on first hand at the IICRC Global Resource Center. Three jam packed days of training!

Instructor Bio’s
Bryan Thomson, owner of Stone Edge Training and a natural born educator, has worked for Turbo Force International, Legend Brands and US Products as a trainer and salesman. He currently runs his own high end stone and tile restoration company in Phoenix Arizona .
Mike Pailliotet, the world’s most passionate carpet cleaner has been in the field cleaning all flooring types for over 34 years, runs Mikey’s Board, the oldest and most respected industry online forum as well as runs Mikey’s Fest, the world’s most unique industry event.
Stu Rosen, I worked for and was trained by MB. I had taken over the contracting business in 2004, as MB wanted to spend his time researching and developing products for professionals and consumers. After he passed, I helped Laura Bertoli (MB’s wife) run the business while still running our contracting business. Laura retired in June 2010, at which time I purchased MB Stone. We have really come full circle from our refinishing business (Stoneshine) to our consumer and stone care professional product lines. We still follow MB’s mantra, “Education Before Any Sale” and also practice his “system of no systems” which lets us work on stone based solely on the stones properties and characteristics. But more than anything else, he gave us a passion for stone refinishing and the products and tools that produce the best results.
