- Stone and Ceramic floor tile cleaning
- Grout repair, fortified, epoxy and flexible products, color matching techniques
- Back Splash, Sink and Base Board joint removal and repair
- Grout Color Seal, application and removal
- Topical Floor Finishes, application and removal
- Wood floor cleaning, low moisture and extraction methods
- Vinyl floor cleaning, plank and sheet
- On-location rug cleaning
- Sales techniques and customer relations
We will have a variety of demonstration work stations featuring mock set ups such as counter to back-splash, bath tub to wall, bottom mount sink to counter-top, floor to tile base board, floor to wood baseboard, vertical shower wall to vertical shower wall, etc. Students will be trained on how to use caulking guns and syringes, various grout types, silicones, epoxies etc with removal and installation both being demonstrated
All subjects will be demonstrated and practiced on first hand at the MB Stone Professional Training Center. Three jam packed days of real hands on training including a comprehensive 96 page manual
Optional 4th day available ($400) to “just” practice your new found skills with instructor supervision. We decided to offer this when virtually every student in our past four classes requested the option.

Instructor Bio’s
Bryan Thomson, owner of Stone Edge Training and a natural born educator, has worked for Turbo Force International, Legend Brands and US Products as a trainer and salesman. He currently runs his own high end stone and tile restoration company in Phoenix Arizona .
Mike Pailliotet, the world’s most passionate carpet cleaner has been in the field cleaning all flooring types for over 35 years, runs Mikey’s Board, the oldest and most respected industry online forum as well as runs Mikey’s Fest, the world’s most unique industry event.
Stu Rosen, as a former apprentice to Maurizio Bertolli, Stu Rosen acquired his knowledge and skills in the craft of stone refinishing from the best of the best. He has continued to be an innovator always researching to find and/or create new products. Stu has a passion to learn and evolve in the stone industry. A recognized industry icon (or “Stone Guru”- as many Stone Professionals refer to him), Stu is dedicated to consumer education and continues to maintain Maurizio’s legacy, specializing in restoration and re-polishing of marble, granite, and all other natural or engineered stones. Stu is the owner of MB Stone Care and Supply LLC, MB Stone Professional, and Stoneshine NJ.
